Our mission
Every child has something to build.
Give young people the confidence to use AI, create original ideas and build for themselves and their communities.
SillyHacks is a mission-led youth movement helping children become AI-native builders. We make room for their ideas and give them the support to explore what those ideas could become.
Why we started
Our younger siblings already had the drive to make things. At home, we could sit beside them, help them use AI and watch their ideas go further.
That made a gap visible: children with the same drive may not have a knowledgeable person nearby to help them begin. We started SillyHacks to help open that door.
Who we serve
Our focus is primary school pupils who would benefit from more personal attention and creative enrichment, including underprivileged children and children with special educational needs.
Children know what helps, frustrates or interests them. That everyday knowledge belongs in the things they create. An idea can begin with a drawing, a question or a conversation.
How we build
Children own their projects. Mentors help them understand a problem, make decisions, build a first version and test what happens. AI supports the process while children practise their own judgment.

Room to keep going
We want to build a learning community where children can return, improve their projects and explore new ideas together. Our plans include guided lessons and sessions where children bring their own ideas to develop with mentors.
